I Want Cha Back Animated Music Video Promo
I Want Cha Back is a short 40-second music video promo animation project that I produced in my final year of undergrad. The project animates the first 30 seconds of the track 'I Want Cha Back' by future funk artist Yung Bae, aiming to serve as a promotion for the song and also promoting the album. The short animation is a tribute to retro 2D cel animation common in the 80s and 90s. The production utilized 2D hand-drawn animation, illustration and TV Paint/After Effects animation.
