IC Therapies 2024 Web Illustrations and Redesign
IC Therapies is an independent consultancy offering private mental healthcare services in the psychotherapy industry. A brand-new website was planned to replace the old one, requiring new content and visuals to complement the site's new design. In collaboration with Aether Digital, who provided the web design, I supplied the illustrations and offered guidance on design elements and written content.

The client's old website was simple but basic, with issues in design layout, formatting, written content, accessibility for disabled clients, and website SEO. The client required improvements in these areas and a new design reflecting the warm, inviting, and friendly nature of the business for both existing and new clients. I collaborated with the web developers to devise a plan to address these issues while incorporating the client's needs into the new design, keeping the client informed at every stage of the development.

The new website is designed to meet all of the client's needs while adding additional functionality and a more cohesive, fresh design. It enhances professionalism, trust, accessibility, and responsive page design with a unified sense of design, featuring charming illustrations unique to IC Therapies.

Utilizing what I learned from 'The Care Collective' Project, I designed icons, illustrations, and visuals for the new site that utilized the company's colours and shapes to convey emotions, aiming for a feeling of friendliness and comfort.

Each human icon illustration depicts the essence of each mental health service IC Therapies provides (CBT, IPT, EMDR, and CFT). The icons serve as illustrations for their respective pages. The colour scheme of the illustrations correlates to the respective theme colour scheme of each page. For example, IPT is represented by the orange from the logo, so I illustrated it with an orange scheme in mind for that page and so on.

My character designs were also utilized as the basis for the animation explainer video for the front page of the website.
Through this project, I was able to learn a lot about working with clients' needs when designing and the importance of factoring in those needs during the design process. This project was also a great opportunity to collaborate with another creative to apply my skills to a new format and bring my work to a new audience.
